Patient Care Coordinator
A fast-paced, growing dental office is seeking a Patient Care - Scheduling Coordinator who is cheerful, outgoing, friendly, and highly organized. - Customer service experience
- Dental experience and knowledge
- Dental insurance knowledge
- Thoroughly enjoys patient interaction
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Greeting patients
- Answering phones
- Confirming and scheduling appointments
- Treatment presentation
- Collecting payments
- Verify insurance benefits and set up profiles
- Assisting in working reports for collections and insurance
- Assist in end-of-day procedures
- Assist patients with financing options, insurance questions, and treatment concerns
- Communicate as needed with the team and patients
- Complete new patient paperwork upon new patient arrival
- Manage schedules to keep full and productive
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Knowledge of Dental Software is a plus
- Office experience desired
- Good interpersonal skills to maintain effective rapport with patients, dentists, other team members, and the community
- Knowledge and experience with dental insurance
- Customer service or patient relations experience
Enjoy a 4-day work week working an average of 32 to 36 hours per week! Office Hours are Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Friday 7:00 am to 4:00pm.
