Job Title: Sr. Product Development & Innovation Manager

Location: Hybrid role, minimum of 2 days per week in office - based out of our midtown NYC office

Workweek schedule: 40 hours per week

Who You Will Report To: Vice President of Product and Creative

What You Will Do:

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused leader to drive end-to-end product creation across licensed consumer products categories including hydration, drinkware, kitchen, tabletop, home décor, giftable novelty, and seasonal specialty products.

This role owns the product development lifecycle from concept through commercialization, partnering with Design, Merchandising, Sales, Sourcing, Operations, and Licensors to deliver trend-right, margin-healthy, retailer-ready assortments.

Key Responsibilities include:

·      Lead product development strategy across hydration, drink ware, décor, and specialty categories.

·      Manage end-to-end development from concept through production handoff.

·      Build timelines, approvals, costing, testing, and launch readiness processes.

·      Partner with Design and Production to translate licensed IP into products that connect fandom, function and lifestyle trends.

·      Improve communication and accountability across departments.

·      Partner with Director of Merchandising to drive target costing, margin goals, and assortment productivity.

·      Partner with factories on innovation, quality, and speed-to-market.

·      Improves profitability through smarter sourcing, packaging efficiencies and cost engineering.                                                        

·      Mentor team members and implement scalable systems/KPIs.

Who You Are:

What you Bring:

·      7–12 years in CPG product development.

·      Experience in hydration, drink ware, kitchenware, home décor, gift, or specialty hard goods.

·      Strong background in licensed products.

·      Overseas sourcing/vendor management experience.

·      Knowledge of ceramic, stainless steel, glass, plastics, packaging.

·      Strong costing, margin, compliance, and timeline management skills.

·      Excellent communication and leadership presence.

·      Knowledge of and passion for pop culture a definite plus

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills
