THE OPPORTUNITY
After completing a major acquisition, the team is excited to be hiring for a full-time land manager based in Houston, TX to help oversee and maximize the value of its mineral position. The candidate will join a dynamic, successful, lean team and play a key role in the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Siltstone’s entrepreneurial culture allows the candidate to take on significant responsibility. The land manager will play a crucial role in managing the firm’s mineral position, including:
- Utilizing land management software to maintain data integrity of land records
- Maintaining mineral interest ownership
- Monitoring producing and non-producing lease status/potential lease bonus/drilling activity/lease expirations/royalty rights
- Monitor courthouse status to see when new Drilling Product Unites ("DPUs") have been filed.
- Create Division Order analysis so that DO's can be verified and processed and liaise with operators as necessary
- Liaising with the accounting/revenue department frequently to provide critical information to ensure accounting records are updated and operator issues are investigated
- Help the team with other related items as applicable
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience in oil and gas and/or minerals land managements/administration
- Familiarity with title process a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Team player and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Enthusiastic, humble, and open to feedback
- Mature and resourceful self-starter, comfortable working independently in a start-up environment
- Willing to go above and beyond job requirements to achieve excellence.
