What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2025-2026 Special Education Teacher/Head Volleyball Coach position at Silsbee Independent School District?
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements
Experience:
Must have knowledge of the general needs of children at this grade level, and the ability to work cooperatively with staff, students, and parents.
Special Knowledge:
- Plan Collaborate with students, parents, and other members of staff to develop IEP through the ARD Committee process for each student assigned. Conduct benchmarks and progress monitoring as required by campus.
- Implement an instructional, therapeutic, or skill development program for assigned students and show written evident of preparation as required.
- Participate in ARD Committee meetings as needed.
- Monitor ongoing student achievement .
