Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN/RN Wound Care Nurse to join our dedicated team at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab. As a Wound Care/Treatment Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional skin care to our residents under the medical direction and supervision of our attending physicians or Medical Director.
Responsibilities
Provide wound care treatment and therapy to residents under the medical direction and supervision of our attending physicians or Medical Director
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote skin health and wound healing
Monitor and assess the condition of wounds and report any changes or concerns to the Medical Director
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective wound management
Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregivers on wound care and skin health
Maintain accurate and detailed records of wound care treatments and patient progress
Requirements
Current licensure as an LPN or RN in the state of Arkansas
Previous experience in a long-term care facility or wound care setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
