ABOUT THE POSITION

Silky & Smooth Shipping LLC is currently hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated regional account operating out of Rancho Cordova, CA. This position offers consistent freight, predictable schedules, and frequent home time. Drivers primarily operate throughout California with occasional routes into neighboring states.

This is a dedicated account with steady miles and a mix of preloaded trailers, drop-and-hook freight, and limited unload assistance at select locations.

PAY & COMPENSATION

• Annual earnings: $78,000 -$83,000
• Weekly pay: $1,300 - $1,600
• CPM: $0.65 - $0.70 per mile (based on experience)
• Average weekly mileage: 2,300-2,700 miles
• Paid weekly
• Paid orientation

HOME TIME & SCHEDULE

• Home every other day whenever possible
• Night shift position
• Consistent freight and schedule
• Full-time position

DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer on dedicated regional routes
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and required documentation
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Meet delivery schedules and customer requirements
• Provide professional service at all pickup and delivery locations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid CDL-A license
• Minimum 21 years old
• At least 1 year of CDL-A driving experience preferred
• Must live within 100 miles of Rancho Cordova, CA
• Must pass DOT physical and drug screening
• Acceptable driving record
