Job Title: Part-Time Oral Surgery Assistant (1 Day per Month)
Location: East Delray Beach, FL
Schedule: One day per month – Third Wednesday of each month (7:45am-5pm)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Oral Surgery Assistant to join our team on a recurring, part-time basis. This role is ideal for an experienced dental professional looking for consistent, once-a-month work in a professional and patient-focused oral surgery setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the doctor during surgical procedures, including extractions, implants, and other oral surgeries
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Follow all OSHA and infection control protocols
No nitrous and IV Sedations. Only local anesthesia.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Oral Surgery Assistant or Dental Assistant required
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work independently in a surgical setting
Compensation:
$25-$30 depends on experience
