Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of daily and monthly cash-related accounting activities, including preparing journal entries and performing detailed account reconciliations.
  • Research and resolve variances by analyzing supporting data, identifying root causes, and clearly communicating findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to ongoing optimization efforts by improving processes, introducing automation ideas, and enhancing the accuracy and reliability of cash reporting workflows.
  • Partner closely with teams across Accounting, Treasury, and Finance to ensure the proper reporting and compliance of complex cash movements such as international banking activity, FX settlements, and intercompany transactions.
  • Leverage advanced Excel capabilities, such as pivot tables, lookups, and sophisticated formulas, to handle high-volume financial data and support cash analytics and reporting.
  • Assist with audit-related deliverables for both internal and external auditors, and participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on accounting experience; experience within a public company or supporting PCAOB audits is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; CPA certification (or progress toward completion) is highly desirable.
  • Highly organized and adaptable, able to manage shifting priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to prepare accurate journal entries and reconciliations with minimal supervision.
  • Strong project management and time-management skills with a consistent track record of delivering precise and timely work.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to understand how accounting entries impact the broader financial picture.
  • Experience working in ERP environments such as Oracle, SAP, or similar financial systems.
