This role oversees all plant finance functions, including budgeting, forecasting, inventory accounting, and month-end close, while collaborating closely with operations to optimize productivity and profitability. The ideal candidate brings dairy manufacturing experience, is a licensed CPA, and thrives in a dynamic, production-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead plant financial reporting, analysis, and performance tracking, ensuring compliance with accounting standardsPartner with operations to evaluate KPIs, cost structures, variances, and drive continuous improvement initiativesManage month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and review of financial packagesOversee inventory accounting, standard costing, yield/loss tracking, and valuation of perishable inventoryPrepare and present plant financial results to leadership during business reviewsSupport annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processesEnsure robust internal controls and timely resolution of financial issuesSupervise, mentor, and develop a small team of accounting professionalsExecute ERP transactions and reporting (SAP preferred)Participate in special projects related to plant growth, expansion, and process improvementQualificationsCPA designation required5 years of progressive finance/accounting experienceDairy and/or food manufacturing experience requiredERP experience required; SAP preferredProven ability to partner with operations to drive financial resultsLeadership experience managing small finance teamsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsComfortable in a fast-paced, expanding manufacturing environmentNo job hoppers, pleaseAbility to work onsite full-time in Cleveland, OHFull benefits packageRelocation assistance consideredWhy You'll Love This RoleOpportunity to make a visible impact in a growing facilityHands-on position with high responsibility and influence
