About Us
We are a newly established, physician-led Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) practice based in Los Gatos, CA, providing high-risk obstetrical care and advanced prenatal imaging. Our mission is to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care in a warm, boutique setting while collaborating closely with OBGYNs, fertility specialists, and referring providers. Dr. Pandipati serves as the Founder and President of the practice, and brings 13 years of experience in the Bay Area, as well as 18 years of experience as a nationally regarded MFM. The practice is affiliated with UCSF, and is in an exciting space adjacent to UCSF Pediatric Subspecialty, general obstetrics and gynecology, and general pediatrics.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our team and perform high-quality obstetric ultrasounds for high-risk pregnancies. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a brand-new MFM practice and work alongside a board-certified perinatologist in a collaborative and supportive environment. You will work with GE Expert 22 ultrasound machines with the latest features.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform obstetric ultrasound exams, including NT and first trimester anatomy, complete basic and detailed anatomy scans, growth scans, biophysical profiles (BPP), and Doppler studies
- Perform fetal echocardiograms (experience preferred but not required)
- Perform gynecologic ultrasound exams
- Communicate findings clearly and compassionately to patients, while working closely with the MFM physician for interpretation and care planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and image archiving within the EHR (EPIC)
- Ensure proper care, maintenance, and cleanliness of ultrasound equipment
- Uphold a warm, professional, and reassuring presence for patients during appointments
Preferred Qualifications:
- AIUM certification strongly preferred
- Fetal echocardiography experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an MFM or high-risk OB practice preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC or similar EHR systems
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and patient-centered mindset
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, startup-like clinical environment
