SVLG brings together CEOs and senior executives from the regions most innovative companies to address shared challenges, shape public policy, and advance solutions that strengthen Californias economic competitiveness and quality of life.Position OverviewSVLG is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and trusted Executive Assistant to support our CEO and the broader Office of the CEO. Reporting to the Chief of Staff to the CEO, this role is crucial in helping the CEO stay focused on the right priorities by managing time, communications, and logistics with care, discretion, and good judgment.In addition to supporting the CEO, this role will help with scheduling for members of the senior leadership team, draft and manage executive communications, coordinate events and meetings, and support day-to-day office and operational needs. Youll be a key partner to the Chief of Staff to the CEO and a steady presence in a fast-moving, high-visibility environment.This is an in-person role based in San Jose. Its a great fit for a professional who enjoys being at the center of things, thrives in a dynamic environment, and takes pride in being a positive, culture-shaping force within an impact-driven organization.Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Support and Calendar ManagementManage the CEOs complex calendar, including scheduling external and internal meetings, board-related engagements, travel coordination, and priority settingAnticipate scheduling conflicts and proactively recommend solutions that align with organizational prioritiesProvide scheduling support for senior leadership team members as priorities requireExecutive Communications and CorrespondenceSupport executive correspondence, including drafting, editing, and managing written communications on behalf of the CEO in coordination with the Chief of Staff, SVP, Strategy & External Affairs, and other senior leadershipEnsure communications are timely, accurate, and aligned with SVLGs voice, brand, and strategic prioritiesCoordinate communications and scheduling with external and internal stakeholders engaging with the Office of the CEO, including elected officials, Fortune 500 CEOs, and other senior business executivesEvent and Meeting SupportProvide significant logistical and administrative support for SVLG events, convenings, and executive-level meetingsAssist with the preparation of materials for board meetings, leadership meetings, and high-level external engagementsCoordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of events and meetingsOffice Management and OperationsPartner closely with the Chief of Staff to ensure effective execution, escalation, and prioritization within the Office of the CEOSupport regular office management needs, including coordination with vendors, facilities, and shared servicesHelp maintain organized systems for files, contacts, and executive recordsAssist with special projects and cross-functional initiatives as neededSkills and Qualifications5-7 years of proven experience supporting senior executives, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic organizationExperience supporting executives who regularly engage with Fortune 500 CEOs, elected officials, or equivalent stakeholdersPreferred experience working directly for a senior executive at a Silicon Valley technology companyExceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing prioritiesAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and discretionExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong judgment and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential informationCollaborative mindset and demonstrated ability to serve as a values ambassador within an organizationProficiency with common productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, etc.)Familiarity with AI productivity tools is a must; knowledge of Salesforce, or other CRM systems is preferred, but not requiredProfessional AttributesProactive, solutions-oriented, and highly dependablePolished, professional, and comfortable interacting with senior leaders and external stakeholdersFlexible and adaptable, with a willingness to support a wide range of prioritiesExcited about building, evolving, and improving internal processesLocationThis is an in-person role based in San Jose due to the highly collaborative nature of the Office of the CEO and the need for real-time coordination with executive leadership.
