We're looking for a content leader to own the end-to-end flow of Silicon Valley Girl podcast.
What you'll own:
Content Strategy & Editorial Control
- Develop overall podcast strategy, including target audience definition and positioning for Silicon Valley Girl
- Ensure consistent release cadence is maintained (5-6 episodes per month)
- Monitor that all content ships on time across platforms
- Maintain editorial direction and positioning consistency across all content
- Participate in guest selection and episode planning
- Approve episode framing, titles, angles, and guest positioning (aligned with producers pre-interview and post-production)
- Ensure every piece of content aligns with Silicon Valley Girl's voice and values
Production Coordination
- Coordinate with YouTube production team to ensure episodes ship on time
- Maintain overall content calendar and strategic timeline
- Be the final checkpoint: "is this ready to go live?"
- Work with distributed team (core team in European timezone, host in PT)
Repurposing & Distribution
- Design and oversee the repurposing strategy: transforming each episode into multiple pieces of content across platforms
- Own the repurposing logic: what gets cut, where it goes, in what format, and why
- Manage and coordinate video editors/clippers team to execute content cuts
- Align with YouTube production team on full episodes, ensure consistency across all outputs
- Coordinate distribution across YouTube (full episodes Shorts), Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and newsletter
- Ensure platform-specific optimization (thumbnails, titles, clips, show notes)
- Maintain brand consistency and quality control across all content
Tools & stack: Notion, Telegram, Google Drive, Mega, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, Trint, OpusClip, Frame.
Who we're looking for:
- 3 years running content operations for a podcast, YouTube channel, or creator-led media brand
- Think in systems, flows, and processes
- Detail-oriented, can hold big picture while managing weekly execution
- Thrive in async-first, remote environments (core team in European timezone, host in PT)
- Data-driven mindset: comfortable analyzing metrics and iterating
