Summary of Position:
Under Production Supervisor of the department helps provide guidance and coordination to the department employees. Performs a variety of functions related to the manufacturing floor and activities. Review appropriate Assembly Instructions (A/I) pages with operator when assigning work, checking first piece to assure work is being done correctly, review all rejections with operator that performed the work, interface with engineering for operator questions, initiate RFCs that will "fine tune" the A/I.
Duties:
- Be a self-starter and work with little supervision.
- Train area employees on correct procedure of manufacturing product.
- Responsible for overall quality of products manufactured in their area.
- Track and give status on work being produced.
- Review budget sheets and give to supervisor with any comments.
- Help investigate root cause of quality problems and initiate necessary corrective action.
- Responsible for ensuring a FOD free work environment including clean up at the end of each day.
- Perform special assignments and other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Visual acuity sufficient to perform detailed work, including the ability to inspect work under a microscope when necessary
- Must be able to pass a vision exam with a minimum visual acuity of 20/25 in at least one eye, with or without corrective lenses
- Must be able to pass a color vision test to accurately distinguish color-coded components or materials
- Have excellent manual dexterity.
- Stand or sit for eight (8) or more hours per day.
- Computer literate.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends.
- Must have previous experience in their assigned area.

Schedule:
- Monday- Friday 5:00am-1:30pm
- OT is required, as needed. OT Hours: Mon-Thursday 2 hours immediately following shift, and Sat.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Assembly Experience: 3 years (Preferred)
- Mechanical Knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)
Salary : $16 - $18
