POSITION SUMMARY
The MRO Planner and Senior MRO Planner are responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling aircraft maintenance activities performed under FAA and EASA Part 145 approvals. The role ensures all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is planned, resourced, and executed using approved data, in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and manage work packages for A‑Checks, C‑Checks, heavy maintenance, structural repairs, ADs, SBs, and modifications.
• Ensure tasks comply with MPD, AMM, SRM, IPC, CMM, and approved Engineering Orders.
• Coordinate manpower, tooling, material, hangar space, and dock planning.
• Support daily and weekly production meetings.
• Track progress, critical path tasks, and TAT risks.
• Coordinate material availability and AOG recovery actions.
• Support FAA, EASA, and customer audits.
• Ensure planning records support CRS issuance and configuration control.
• Track planned vs actual labor hours and support cost and invoice accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 3–5 years MRO planning experience (Planner).
• 5–8 years heavy maintenance planning experience (Senior Planner preferred).
• Strong knowledge of MPD, ADs, SBs, MEL/CDL.
• Experience with AMOS, Trax, Ramco, IFS, or equivalent systems.
• Advanced Excel and planning analysis skills.
PREFERRED
• FAA A&P License.
• Prior FAA or EASA audit support experience.
• Heavy check planning on B737, B767, B777, or A320 family.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Office and hangar environment. Extended hours may be required during heavy checks, audits, or AOG events.
