The Restoration Technician reports to the Operations Manager and handles water damage, fire and smoke damage, and mixed restoration projects. This role involves local daily travel to customer sites, emergency on-call dispatches, and participation in a rotating after-hours schedule, with opportunities to advance to Lead Technician.
Responsibilities
- Assess damage and support restoration planning for water, fire, smoke, and mixed restoration projects.
- Perform water extraction and structural drying.
- Conduct mold remediation and odor control.
- Restore customer contents and provide demolition support as needed.
- Operate restoration equipment safely and effectively.
- Document project conditions, work performed, and restoration progress.
- Communicate with customers throughout the restoration process.
- Respond to local daily assignments, emergency dispatches, and rotating on-call requests.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in property restoration.
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Customer service skills.
