We’re partnered with a nationally ranked top ten affordable housing developer actively seeking a Senior Superintendent with deep experience in multi-family, apartment, affordable housing, student housing, or assisted living construction. This is a high-impact leadership role for a seasoned field professional with deep experience in coordinating site operations, managing subcontractors, and delivering quality-driven projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all on-site construction operations from groundbreaking through certificate of occupancy
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and trades to ensure consistent execution of project plans
- Enforce adherence to construction documents, building codes, and site-specific safety standards
- Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules; drive progress and adjust proactively
- Oversee daily activity of subcontractors, material deliveries, and equipment utilization
- Identify and resolve conflicts in the field to maintain forward momentum
- Implement quality assurance protocols to maintain high standards of workmanship
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety meetings; ensure full OSHA compliance
- Create a culture of accountability and safety awareness among all on-site personnel
- Monitor labor, material, and equipment usage to ensure efficient budget performance
- Support procurement efforts by managing lead times and verifying material quality and delivery
- Act as the primary field point of contact for inspectors, clients, and project partners
- Provide regular project updates and proactively manage issues and change conditions
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in field supervision, with a focus on multifamily, affordable, or workforce housing
- Successful track record managing projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Expertise in wood-frame construction, site logistics, and subcontractor coordination
- Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, and other construction management tools
- OSHA 30 required; First Aid/CPR preferred
- Bachelor’s in Construction Management or related field strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
