Marketing Analyst in Woodland Hills, CA
Silgan Containers seeks a Marketing Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will recommend actions required to help manage changes, and assist with coordination and execution of consumer research studies to assist our Marketing department.
What you’ll do
- Conduct data compilation and analysis utilizing syndicated grocery scanner data (e.g. Nielsen and/or IRI). This includes, but not limited to, delivery of customer specific analytical requests and overall food category assessments (food, package and price trends).
- Core contributor and development of key customer presentations (largest U.S. CPG firms) and contributor of Senior Management presentations. Contributions that may include SWOT analysis, category forecasts, identifying drivers of short/long-tern change, risk assessment analysis, etc.
- Inputs for analysis include internet searches, syndicated data purchases and primary/secondary research studies.

We need you to have:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Marketing
- Must be highly skilled with use of excel
- Experience with IRI/Nielson syndicated data strongly preferred, but not required
- Strong time management and project management skills
