IT ERP Project Manager
Join Silgan’s “blue chip” Business Technology Shared Services team as an IT ERP Project Manager. The ideal candidate serves as an expert in managing and leading full-cycle ERP projects and programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, project scoping, moving project through the approval process, building RFP/RFQ when applicable, people management, and project quality and oversight. Accountable for delivering successful projects as defined for each project. We invest in our people and are seeking employees who want to grow and learn.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain project plans, issue lists, and other project artifacts
- Status reporting, meeting management, and presentations to steering committees
- Lead teams in the implementation of all phases of the ERP teams’ projects
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of experience managing projects of all sizes
- 1 full life cycle ERP implementations (Oracle JDE Edwards preferred but not required)
- 1 years of leading onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams
- 3 years of experience with the project budget and financials
- 3 years of experience with scope, risk, and mitigation management throughout the project delivery
- 3 years of experience managing internal and external stakeholder expectations
- 3 years of experience with PM tools such as MS Projects
