SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Manages maintenance operations in support of Production, Facilities and Engineering requirements. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages maintenance operations Operates to Budget Plant Services Support of Plant Programs Safety-Environmental Safe Quality Foods (SQF) activities QMS activities Lean activities Reliability Centered Maintenance Audits Maintains preventive maintenance records Develops and implements maintenance training Manages Storeroom Administers company policies and procedures as required Conducts duties in accordance with plant safety policies and procedures Any other duties as needed Performs other duties assigned by Plant Manager EDUCATION: Preferred: 2-year technical degree or equivalent plus 5 years maintenance experience EXPERIENCE: Required: detailed knowledge of maintenance operations, plastics processes, and plant equipment. SKILLS: Required: Excellent communication & interpersonal skills; strong writing, computer and presentation skills; strong ownership of Safety; manage people in a manufacturing environment.
