Job Description Summary

Perform inspection of WIP and finished product in accordance with sampling plans and internal and external customer specifications. Communicates non-conformances to the appropriate individuals, in accordance with documented work instructions.

Job Description

Day shift (7a-7p) on a rotational schedule

• Draws samples for inspection in accordance with the appropriate sampling plan
• Inspects product in accordance to documented work instructions
• Determines acceptability in accordance with documented customer specifications and AQL's.
• Controls nonconforming product, in accordance with documented SOP's.
• Ensures effective communication within the work team and reports any non-conformances to the appropriate individual.
• Responsible for food safety
• Works 12-hour shifts standing on concrete
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Work in the heat
• Performs other designated duties of the Quality System, as assigned.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Experience: Required: Successful completion of all training modules for operator assistant and QA/QC.

Skills: Required: Additional training requirements are identified and arrangements for the training made when needed.
