What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Accounting Manager position at Silgan Dispensing?
Ready to take the next step in your accounting career? Silgan Dispensing Systems is looking for a Corporate Accounting Manager to join our Grandview, Missouri team.
In this role, you will lead daily accounting activities and month-end close for Grandview and related U.S. locations, oversee SOX controls and reconciliations, support plant performance reporting, manage intercompany activity, partner with shared services, support audits, and lead and develop the accounting team.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or CMA is a plus.
- 7 years of related accounting experience, including public accounting and/or private accounting in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems; JD Edwards is a plus.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Experience managing individual contributors; multi-site and international experience are a plus.
