- Assist with inventory accuracy, including quarterly physical inventories, audit cadence, and variance resolution
- Manage monthly closing, plant financial statements, and standardized financial reporting in accordance with corporate timelines
- Prepare budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating plan submissions
- Maintain standard costs, cost accounting processes, and bills of materials
- Manage compliance with SOX internal controls and maintain audit readiness
- Participate in production meetings and conduct regular plant walkthroughs
- Partner with plant management on manufacturing finance and cost management
- Provide day‑to‑day oversight of the plant accounting clerk and plant planner
- Collaborate with corporate finance on reporting accuracy and control compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–5 years of manufacturing accounting or manufacturing finance experience
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory controls, and month‑end close
- Working knowledge of GAAP principles
- Experience with SOX‑aligned or internal control environments
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and process‑focused work style
- Comfortable managing plant accounting duties with minimal supervision
- Strong ability to meet deadlines while working collaboratively
- Prior people management experience preferred
- JD Edwards or ERP system experience preferred
