- Develop in-depth knowledge of can/end components and manufacturing equipment
- Review production reports and take action to maintain efficiencies within established guidelines
- Lead and enforce safety programs, policies, and housekeeping standards
- Promote effective communication across all levels of the plant to support a collaborative work environment
- Provide leadership and guidance to Plant Supervisors and Management Trainees
- Administer and enforce company and plant policies, procedures, and work practices
- Support resource control efforts, including reviewing labor and approving records in Kronos
- Assist with training and development of supervisors, trainees, and hourly employees
- Provide performance feedback in partnership with plant leadership
- Oversee warehouse operations to ensure smooth inbound and outbound product flow
- Associate’s degree required or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and basic quality tools
- Ability to develop a working knowledge of manufacturing equipment and production processes
- Self-directed with strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel to foster a team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present in small and large group settings
- Willingness and ability to spend 40% of time on the production floor
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment
