Pay: $15.26

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3PM

Essential Job Functions:
* Perform depalletizer changeovers
* Verify sorting accuracy
* Visually check quality of tin plate sheets and ends
* Coordinate with Forklift drivers about sortable/non sortable ends
* Maintain HFI area
* Fix random tag issues. Voids, held by mistakes, hold for inspection, etc
* Operate the depalletizer (sorting machine)
* Assist Quality Manager daily as necessary
* Assist Production Supervisor daily as necessary
* Sort plain and coated tinplate sheets as required
* Package bundles of tinplate sheets as required for transporting after sorting
* Maintain detailed daily records of all sorting activities
* Move tinplate bundles around facility as required utilizing forklift truck
* Responsible for housekeeping of sort area workspace and as assigned in other plant areas
* Perp sorting work for other shifts as needed
* Assist in the Coil, Coater and Shipping departments as directed by supervision
* Prepare all sorted sheets (identified as scrap) for outside shipment

Job Requirements:
* Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel
* Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
* Must have excellent time-management skills

Experience/Education:
* High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred requirements:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing facility

Physical Requirements:
* Ability to kneel, stoop, crawl, squat, and stand for extended period, while running machinery up to 12 hours
* Must possess adequate upper body strength to repeatedly pull or push hand tools in order to make, repair, or adjust parts and/or machines
* Ability to lift 50 pounds
* Ability to be in constant motion about 50-70 percent of shifts
