Manufacturing Controller / Plant Controller

Silgan Closures is seeking a Manufacturing Controller / Plant Controller to lead accounting and financial operations for our Hazleton, PA facility. This high-impact role oversees cost accounting, manufacturing finance, inventory control, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and operational analysis while partnering directly with plant leadership to drive business performance.

What You'll Do
- Lead plant accounting and cost accounting activities
- Manage month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating plans
- Maintain standard costs and Bills of Material (BOMs)
- Analyze labor, material, overhead, inventory, and manufacturing variances
- Manage physical inventory and inventory reconciliation processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Partner with operations leaders to improve plant performance and profitability
- Supervise accounting and administrative functions
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, or plant finance experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP, inventory accounting, and financial reporting
- ERP system experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to influence decisions across finance and operations
