We’re looking for a full-time, skilled Calendar Clerk to join our in-office team immediately. In this role you will be responsible for managing attorney calendars, court appearances, deadline tracking, scheduling, and ensuring that all critical events, from hearings to depositions to client meetings, are logged accurately and managed proactively.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the firm’s master calendar of hearings, mediations, depositions, court appearances, and client meetings.
- Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, clients, opposing counsel, and court staff to schedule, confirm, and reschedule as necessary.
- Track and input key case deadlines, statute of limitations, filing dates, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts, communicate changes, and distribute finalized calendars/updates to relevant parties.
- Answer phone and email inquiries about scheduling, update internal case-management system with calendar entries.
- Collaborate with litigation and intake teams to ensure all scheduling details are entered accurately.
- Maintain confidentiality and organization of case files, scheduling logs, and related documentation.
- Other administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of calendar clerk, scheduling, or legal administrative experience, ideally in a law-firm or litigation environment.
- Strong organizational skills, impeccable attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.
