Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Kitchen Help to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the kitchen, a passion for preparing quality food, and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Assist with inventory control, including proper storage and rotation of ingredients
- Follow chef’s instructions and contribute to smooth kitchen operations
Qualifications:
- Previous cooking experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen sanitation standards
- Maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
- Comfortable working in hot, fast-paced kitchen conditions
