Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Reports To: Controller
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented AR & AP Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day accounting operations in our manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining strong communication with vendors, customers, and internal teams. This position reports directly to the Controller and plays an important role in ensuring smooth daily financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Process vendor invoices, including 3-way PO matching
- Verify approvals and general ledger coding
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain vendor records and payment terms
- Assist with 1099 preparation
Accounts Receivable
- Generate and send customer invoices
- Apply customer payments (check, ACH, wire, credit card, NBS)
- Reach out to customers regarding payment status
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts
- Research and resolve customer deductions and discrepancies
General Support
- Assist with month-end close tasks and account reconciliations
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting records
- Support inventory-related transaction review in coordination with operations
- Provide backup support within the accounting team as needed
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 2 years of AR/AP or general accounting experience
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (Odoo a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Salary : $40,000 - $50,000
