What are the responsibilities and job description for the Companion Caregiver for Seniors position at SILC, Senior Independent Living Companions?
SILC, Senior Independent Living Companions (www.silccare.com), is looking to hire part-time companions (15-30 hrs/week) to help independent seniors inside and outside their homes or communities. EXPERIENCE WITH PERSONAL CARE PREFERRED. Shifts tend to run in 2-4 hr increments, one to five days a week (weekends and evenings, if interested). Examples of services provided: transportation for errands and doctor's visits, companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, personal care, light exercise, shopping, and more. Candidates must ABSOLUTELY have a love for seniors, be professional, patient, kind, fun, compassionate, reliable and honest. A background check will be conducted before hiring, and you must have a valid driving license and a good driving record. Our main area of service is Royersford, Pottstown, Limerick, Collegeville, Oaks and Phoenixville.
