Position Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct resident care and support services while promoting dignity, comfort, safety, and quality of life for our residents.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration as directed
- Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team
- Assist with meal service, hydration, and nutritional support
- Remind residents to take medications and nutritional supplements as directed
- Maintain accurate documentation and resident records
- Provide compassionate, respectful care that promotes resident dignity and independence
- Support a positive, team-oriented environment focused on exceptional resident outcomes
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant Program required
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice required
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for providing outstanding resident care

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS* Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, or related experience and / or training. * Successful completion of State-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENTShift work may be required. Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, lift and or transfer residents weighing between 100 and 250 pounds, see, use hands or fingers, reach with hands and arms, feel, talk and hear. Employee is occasionally exposed to blood or other body fluids, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. May be required to work beyond their regular scheduled shift. In compliance with applicable law, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
OTHER REQUIREMENTSParticipates in (or conducts) company-sponsored training to safeguard against improper use and disclosure of resident's protected health information. Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and state and federal law.
Compensation: $18-50 - $23.00 an hour
