We are seeking an experienced Electrical Specialist to join our Maintenance team at our SikaFiber plant in Chattanooga, TN. This role involves advanced troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Specialist to join our Maintenance team at our SikaFiber plant in Chattanooga, TN. This role involves advanced troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex electrical systems, PLCs, variable speed drives, and control equipment (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Yaskawa, etc.).
- Perform and lead preventive and condition-based maintenance programs focused on minimizing downtime and improving reliability.
- Read, interpret, and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation.
- Install, maintain, and operate electrical/electronic systems while ensuring compliance with NEC, OSHA, and NFPA70E standards.
- Collaborate with and mentor maintenance team members, providing guidance on electrical best practices and troubleshooting.
- Participate in root cause analysis, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives to support production goals.
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience in industrial electrical/electronics.
- 3 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, industrial automation, and safety procedures.
- Willingness to work any shift, be on call, and adhere to all PPE and safety standards.
