Quality Assurance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead our team in Sealy, Texas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of the Quality Control department and contribute to the success of our company.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the direction, coordination, and management of all quality-related activities, ensuring the production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and collaborative work environment.
- Oversee the entire quality control process for raw materials, finished products, and production processes, ensuring compliance with Sika USA's high standards.
- Work closely with production teams to maintain quality standards, driving continuous improvement and supporting product development.
- Manage the implementation of SPC charting and the use of quality control data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Direct and manage all laboratory testing, ensuring all equipment is properly calibrated and meets company requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, advising on activities, resolving issues, and providing insight into quality control results and root cause analysis.
- Document and report quality control data, including monthly QC reports and root cause analysis, while identifying corrective actions when necessary.
- Support ongoing professional development, including the training and mentoring of staff to foster their growth and success in the department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences, Natural Sciences, or other related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in related dry mix manufacturing/testing (optional).
- English language proficiency. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Working knowledge/experience with SAP and JDE system (optional).
