Program Duration: May 18 – August 7, 2026 (12-week program)
Program Highlights:
Hands-On Departmental Experience: Dive into department-specific tasks, gaining practical experience and exposure to the inner workings of the health insurance industry. Work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to impactful, real-world projects.
Weekly Industry Leader Sessions: Participate in weekly discussions with industry experts on topics such as emerging trends, market insights, and career advice. Build connections and expand your professional network.

About Medicare Strategy
Medicare Strategy focuses on the long term planning, development, and performance of SIHO’s Medicare product, MyTruAdvantage. This department analyzes market trends, competitive landscapes, regulatory changes, and member experience data to help shape future plan designs and operational priorities. The team collaborates with departments such as Compliance, Marketing, Finance, Member Services, and Provider teams to ensure that MyTruAdvantage products are competitive, compliant, and aligned with member needs. Their work guides key decisions that influence benefits, pricing, growth strategy, and overall direction of the Medicare line of business.
In this role, you will:
- Assist with researching Medicare market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory updates impacting MyTruAdvantage
- Help review and organize data related to member experience, benefit performance, and operational outcomes
- Participate in cross functional discussions to understand how strategy influences plan design, member communications, compliance requirements, and provider relationships
- Support preparation of summaries, reports, or materials used in strategic planning and leadership discussions
- Contribute to projects that evaluate benefit improvements, outreach opportunities, or product optimization needs
- Gain exposure to the strategic decision making processes that shape Medicare Advantage plan development and future growth initiatives
Qualifications: College students completing their junior or senior year in majors such as Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, Marketing, or related fields. Strong academic performance and a keen interest in the health insurance industry. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
