We are currently hiring a Benefits Account Manager to join our team!
Responsibilities include:
· Day-to-day account management for mid-sized to large clients, as well as working with our marketing team to grow the existing book of business
· Manage an assigned book of business; build, expand, and solidify relationships with clients
· Retain existing business and implement additional services and coverage levels as needed
· Able to lead virtual or in-person group enrollment meetings
· Manage day to day client issues and serve as the main point of contact for any benefit-related needs
· Follow leads and build relationships with prospective clients
· Conduct needs analysis and strategy calls
· Build relationships with clients through proactive communications
· Communicate with and educate clients on latest trends, concerns, and changes in the industry
· Effectively and efficiently manage complex accounts and deliver best in class service
· Assists in growing the book of business through cross-sale opportunities when available
· Attend seminars, classes, and carrier meetings to stay current on new products and legislative changes
· Local travel with limited overnight travel
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree or related technical / vocational certification
Life & Health 215 license, or the ability to earn such license within 60 days
· Practical knowledge of the employee benefit insurance industry or human resources experience preferred
· Self-motivated and disciplined with a strong work ethic
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Google Suite products
· Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, while working under minimal supervision
· Possess pragmatic problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis, present solutions and see that the resolution is seen through to completion
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Capacity to effectively handle multiple and changing client priorities and deadlines.
· Ability to effectively present information electronically and verbally.
· A current Florida driver’s license and reliable local transportation.
· The ability to handle medical information confidentially and to comply with HIPAA requirements.
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
