Role Description
SIHF has multiple needs and these are full-time on-site roles for a Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant located in the St. Louis Metro East area. The practitioner will provide primary care, perform medical examinations, diagnose and treat illnesses, and manage overall patient care. Other responsibilities include conducting urgent care services, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient outcomes. The practitioner will also be responsible for patient education and the development of treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Skills in Primary Care, Medicine, and Urgent Care
- Proficiency in Nursing and Nurse Practitioners
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center is a plus
