Role Description
The Permit Technician is a full-time role based on-site in Clearwater, FL. The position involves managing permit applications, collaborating with local authorities, reviewing building plans for compliance, and ensuring all signage installations meet local codes and regulations. The role also requires maintaining excellent communication with clients and internal teams to ensure a seamless permitting process and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Permit Applications and experience working with Building Permits
- Ability to review and interpret plans and documents for compliance with local codes
- Knowledge of Code Enforcement and strong attention to detail for regulatory compliance
- Excellent Customer Service skills and the ability to address inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in the signage or construction industry is a plus
- Proficiency with relevant software and tools for documentation and communication
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in related fields are advantageous
