More About The Role
This is an exciting job opportunity for you as an Assembler in Littlestown, PA with Signify. (5am-3pm Monday to Thursday)
- Assemble all product that goes through final assembly; Filling in for absent workers on a line; assisting on any line with high priority orders
- Assist in new cell layout projects/ergonomics; Assist and lead in new product introductions
- Assist with special work instructions – custom and modified orders; Document assembly instructions
- Read, interpret and train others on production coding; Train and assist cell members focusing on ballast wiring
- Inspect product to routing and BOMs; Handle routine revisions to BOM revisions – verify accuracy and process form
- Address quality related issues; NCR approval; ISO9001 procedures, etc; filling out related reports
While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility wiring ballasts and assembling fixtures or electrical/electronic parts
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to read and speak English; Ability to complete production documents in English
- Ability to physically move materials used in the production area; lift up to 50 lbs
- Understanding of quality documents and ISO procedures
