We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Mechatronics/Robotics Engineer for a full-time, on-site position based in Berkeley, CA. This role involves designing, developing, and testing advanced mechatronic and robotic systems for various applications. Key responsibilities include systems integration, algorithm development, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will also contribute to prototype development, technical documentation, and continuous product improvements to ensure the highest quality and performance standards.
- Proficiency in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Electro-mechanical Design
- Experience with Control Systems, Automation, and Motion Planning
- Strong skills in Mechanical Design, Prototyping, and Hardware Integration
- Advanced knowledge of Programming (e.g., Python, C ) and Software Development for robotics
- Familiarity with Sensors, Actuators, and Embedded Systems
- Sound understanding of Machine Learning and Computer Vision (preferred, but not required)
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovation and teamwork
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field
- 5 years of professional experience in mechatronics or robotics engineering
