Role Description
This is a full-time onsite role (multiple projects) for a Building Automation Controls System Technician at Signet Controls in North Los Angeles / Central Coast of CA (relocation preferred). This individual will be responsible for overseeing and implementing Building Controls and Open Automation Systems, programming, start-up & commissioning, troubleshooting, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, technical support, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize building automation solutions.
Qualifications
- 3 years' experience in Systems Engineering, Programming, Start-up, Commissioning, and Servicing of BACnet Building Automation Systems.
- Tridium Niagara programming certification and Building Systems Integration expertise is a plus.
- Certifications in Control Systems (e.g., Tridium N4, Alerton, Automated Logic, Distech, or Siemens) are a plus.
- Understanding of Building Automation Design, and Project Management, are a plus.
- Knowledge of open automation protocols and industry standards
- Experience in supporting new and existing projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and remote teams.
