What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse / Health Coach – Functional Medicine position at Signature Wellness?
Are you a clinically experienced Nurse who knows there is more to healthcare than rushed appointments and symptom management? Do you believe patients deserve education, root-cause answers, and real partnership in their healing? Are you drawn to Functional Medicine and holistic wellness, not because it’s trendy, but because it makes sense?
If so, this may be exactly what you’ve been looking for.
Signature Wellness is Charlotte’s premier Functional Medicine practice. Since 2007, we have helped men and women restore energy, balance hormones, improve metabolic health, and reduce reliance on prescription medications whenever possible.
We are not a conventional clinic. We are not a hospital environment. We are a relationship-based, root-cause practice committed to clinical excellence, teamwork, and delivering a true “WOW” patient experience.
We are seeking a Nurse who also embraces the role of Health Coach and Patient Educator; someone clinically sharp, emotionally intelligent, and deeply aligned with our mission.
This position is ideal for someone who wants to practice differently, values purpose and impact, and is excited to grow within Functional Medicine.

- Someone genuinely interested in Functional Medicine and holistic health
- A team player who contributes to a positive, solution-focused culture
- A high-integrity individual who values excellence over shortcuts
- Someone seeking meaningful, balanced work rather than hospital shift culture
Functional Medicine training or experience with bio-identical hormone therapy is strongly preferred, but a strong interest and willingness to learn is essential.

- Support patients enrolled in comprehensive wellness and hormone optimization programs
- Provide clinical support within scope of practice

- Help create the polished, welcoming, high-level experience our patients expect
You will play a central role in helping patients feel heard, supported, and confident in their healing journey.
