What are the responsibilities and job description for the Relationship Manager: Wealth Advisor position at Signature Wealth Advisors, LLC?
About Signature Wealth Advisors
Signature Wealth Advisors is a values-driven financial planning and investment management firm with over $600 million in assets under management. We work alongside families and business owners to bring long-term clarity, confidence, and financial stability to everything they build.
We are growing deliberately — and we’re hiring for the future of this profession, not just its past.
About This Role
With over $500 million in assets under management and growing, we are seeking a motivated and client-focused Relationship Manager to service our existing client base and identify new sales opportunities within the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Financial Planning, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to client relationship management.
This role includes the opportunity to service and manage a $50M book of business (BOB) from our existing client relationships while working alongside a Forbes “Best-in-State Wealth Advisor” and recognized Financial Security Professional, providing a unique opportunity to grow and learn from industry-recognized leadership. You will spearhead analysis and creation of complex Financial Planning and Risk & Wealth Management Scenarios from research through recommendation for a subset of established clients — and you will be in the room (or on the call) when it matters most.
As AI-created “one size fits all” advice is trending, this role is built for what remains irreplaceable: human judgment, trusted relationships, and the ability to translate complex financial realities into clear, meaningful guidance for real people.
What You'll Own
• Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing financial advice and support tailored to their needs, while also identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities within the existing client base and their networks.
• Participate directly in client meetings — presenting findings, fielding questions, and building relationships
• Prepare and present planning analyses, recommendations, and summaries for client meetings
• Build and maintain comprehensive financial plans using eMoney, incorporating retirement, tax, estate, insurance, and cash flow scenarios
• Support investment analysis and portfolio review processes in coordination with lead advisors
• Collaborate with the advisory team to ensure planning and investment strategies are integrated and aligned
• Stay current on the company’s product and service offerings, tax law, planning strategies, and industry developments that affect client outcomes
Who We Are
You are a financial planner at heart with a strong desire to build long-lasting service-centered relationships. You find the complexity of a client’s financial life interesting, not overwhelming. You ask good questions. You listen carefully. And when you have a recommendation, you can defend it clearly.
You are either pursuing your CFP® designation with genuine momentum, or you already hold it. Either way, you view it as a baseline, not a finish line.
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field
• 3 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management, preferably within an independent advising, broker/dealer or RIA space
• CFP® certification or active candidacy with a clear timeline
• Series 7 and either 65 or 66 license
• Proficiency in eMoney or a comparable financial planning platform
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing experience
• Ability to build, analyze, and present complex financial plans independently
Nice to have:
• Familiarity with Wealthbox, Envestnet, or Wealthscape/NFS
• Background in tax planning, estate planning, or insurance analysis
• Comfort with AI-assisted planning tools and a curiosity about how technology shapes the profession
