About This Role

We are looking for a Paraplanner or Financial Planner who thinks deeply, communicates confidently, and genuinely enjoys working with clients. You will own complex financial planning scenarios from research through recommendation — and you will be in the room (or on the call) when it matters most.

As AI continues to automate routine processing and data entry, this role is being built for what remains irreplaceable: human judgment, trusted relationships, and the ability to translate complex financial realities into clear, meaningful guidance for real people.

What You’ll Own

• Build and maintain comprehensive financial plans using eMoney, incorporating retirement, tax, estate, insurance, and cash flow scenarios
• Prepare and present planning analyses, recommendations, and summaries for client meetings
• Participate directly in client meetings — presenting findings, fielding questions, and building relationships
• Develop tailored financial planning solutions for complex client situations including business owners, executives, and multigenerational families
• Support investment analysis and portfolio review processes in coordination with lead advisors
• Translate planning data and strategy into clear, client-ready deliverables
• Collaborate with the advisory team to ensure planning and investment strategies are integrated and aligned
• Stay current on tax law, planning strategies, and industry developments that affect client outcomes

Who You Are

You are a financial planner at heart — not just in title. You find the complexity of a client’s financial life interesting, not overwhelming. You ask good questions. You listen carefully. And when you have a recommendation, you can defend it clearly.

You are either pursuing your CFP® designation with genuine momentum, or you already hold it. Either way, you view it as a baseline, not a finish line.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field
• 3 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management
• CFP® certification or active candidacy with a clear timeline
• 3 years of experience in eMoney or a comparable financial planning platform
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing experience
• Ability to build, analyze, and present complex financial plans independently

Nice to have:

• Experience working directly with high-net-worth or business-owner clients
• Familiarity with Wealthbox, Envestnet, or Wealthscape/NFS
• Background in tax planning, estate planning, or insurance analysis
• Comfort with AI-assisted planning tools and a curiosity about how technology shapes the profession

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $90,000 – $110,000, commensurate with experience and CFP® status
