Position Overview
Signature Line Services, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and dependable Ground Support Specialist (GSS) to support our helicopter operations. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and professional field operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and thrives in dynamic, outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain company support vehicles and trailers
- Perform helicopter refueling operations in accordance with company safety protocols
- Identify, evaluate, and establish helicopter landing zones (LZs)
- Assist with staging and rigging of external loads
- Maintain organization and inventory of trucks, trailers, and equipment
- Communicate effectively with pilots, team members, and customers
- Support field operations in a variety of environments and conditions
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel and work scheduled rotations
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain
- Valid driver’s license and DOT medical required (CDL is preferred, but not required)
- Prior experience in aviation, construction, logistics, or similar field is a plus
Work Schedule & Travel
- 21 days on / 21 days off rotation
- Travel is required
- Company-paid transportation to and from job sites
