Manufacturing Machine Operator (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery including forklifts and other heavy equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with a team to ensure the highest quality of products.

Duties

• Operate and monitor machinery such as roll formers and trim machines including a host of other machines
• Set up and adjust machine settings according to specifications and production requirements.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments, including tape measures, to verify dimensions and ensure accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols within the manufacturing facility.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, including lubrication and cleaning, to ensure optimal performance.
• Safely operate forklifts for material handling as needed.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating package machinery and logic controllers is preferred.
• Familiarity with Computerized controls is a plus.
• Strong understanding of precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety regulations within the workplace.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.19 - $17.08 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Work Location: In person

Salary : $16 - $17
