Manager of Data Analytics

The Manager of Data Analytics oversees the collection, processing, and interpretation of large datasets to drive strategic decision-making. This role involves managing a team of analysts, developing data-driven strategies, and ensuring data integrity across multiple systems. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with leadership skills to foster a data-centric culture within the organization

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of data analysts.
• Allocate resources and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop and implement data analytics strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal standards.
• Oversee data collection, cleaning, and validation processes.
• Use statistical tools and advanced analytics to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, operations, and IT teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Maintain and optimize data systems and databases.
• Implement modern analytics techniques, including machine learning and predictive modeling.
• Develop training programs for junior analysts and promote best practices in data analysis.

Required Skills And Attributes

• Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, and big data technologies.
• Knowledge of business operations, KPIs, and financial metrics.
• Certifications such as PMP, AWS, or BI-related credentials are a plus
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field is a plus.
• 5 years of experience in data analytics is preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication and project management skills
