Job Description
The Forklift Operator will be responsible for moving goods, loaded pallets, and equipment safely and securely. In addition to driving forklifts, a Forklift Operator also has a range of other warehouse duties, such as packaging shipments or checking inventories.
First Shift: Mon-Thurs 6 a.m. - 5 p.m. , 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Routinely stack panels and lift batteries onto pallets.
- Lift 50-100 repeatedly throughout the day.
- Work in an organized, time-efficient, safe manner.
- Unload and upload material
- Stacking product on pallets
- Scanning and documenting outgoing shipments
- Receiving incoming RMA and inventory shipments
- Identify damages
- Report shortages and quality deficiencies
- Inspect machinery and determine the need for repairs
- Keep updated records of inventory
- Produce activity logs
- Comply with company policies and guidelines
- Assist in keeping a safe environment
- All other duties assigned
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as a forklift operator or similar role
- Attention to detail
- Good knowledge of industrial equipment
- Excellent coordination
- Valid certification to operate forklifts
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
Physical Requirements:
This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting 50 lbs, bending, stooping, computer work, and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
