Signature Nurses, Inc. is looking for an experienced an Ultrasound Tech (UT) for 13-week varied shift / varied schedule contract assignment is in beautiful Prosser, WA. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Tech.
Ultrasound Tech Duties:
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients using sonography equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses
- Maintain patient records and update medical information as necessary
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Skills:
- ARDMS certified requirement
- Duties to include OB/GYN, vascular, small parts, abdomen, biopsies, aspirations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis, as well as infant hips, appendix, and pylorus studies
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Ability to accurately interpret diagnostic evaluations and identify abnormalities or potential issues
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in image acquisition and analysis
