Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize EMR and EHR systems to maintain accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Support patients with developmental disabilities and those requiring memory care, demonstrating compassion and understanding.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Proficient in basic life support and patient care
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation
- Experience with EMR and EHR systems, including Epic and Cerner
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Background in long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including those with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer's care
