Commercial Service Technician – Data Center

Pay: $30-$35 HR/DOE | Location: Cartersville, GA | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical HVAC and mechanical systems in a data center environment. This is a mission-critical facility where safety, reliability, and uptime are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial HVAC and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Service chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, air handlers, pumps, cooling towers, VFDs, and BAS/BMS controls.
• Monitor equipment and respond to alarms or equipment issues.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Document inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Follow all OSHA, LOTO, NFPA 70E, PPE, and site-specific safety requirements.

Requirements:

• 3 years of commercial, industrial, or institutional HVAC/mechanical experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment repairs.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety procedures.
• Ability to use basic electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Must pass required drug screen and background checks.

Preferred Experience:

• Data center or other mission-critical facility experience.
• Experience with chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, cooling towers, pumps, VFDs, HVAC controls, and BAS/BMS.
• EPA 608 Universal, OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, or NATE certification.
• Experience in hospitals, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, power plant, or similar critical environments.
