Job Title: Talent Acquisition & Development Coordinator

Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Coordinator, Talent Acquisition & Development for its Washington, D.C. office. This role reports to the local Talent Acquisition & Development Manager and supports all aspects of attorney recruiting and development programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Coordinate campus recruiting events, summer associate training programs, and social activities.
- Schedule interviews, manage candidate follow-up, prepare hiring committee materials, and coordinate work assignments and onboarding for summer associates.
- Collaborate with lateral and staff recruiting teams to support the onboarding of new talent.
- Partner with global Talent Acquisition teams on firmwide initiatives and programs.
Talent Development:
- Coordinate local Talent Development Committee meetings, events, and attorney training programs.
- Work with global Talent Development teams to implement firmwide directives, including coaching programs and training academies.
- Support local performance management processes, including performance approvals, reporting, and meetings.
Talent Management:
- Assist with the onboarding and integration of all new attorney hires.
- Generate reports and provide recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis.
- Attend and support firm events, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
- Travel as required for programs and initiatives.
- Handle additional related projects as assigned.
Required Proficiencies:
- Advanced proficiency in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Strong skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience coordinating training programs and events.
- Basic understanding of legal recruiting, attorney development practices, and professional development philosophies.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources, law school career services, attorney recruiting, or professional development (preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional services or legal environment (required).
